With three annual events in Asia, Americas and Europe, student teams take to the track to see who goes further on the least amount of fuel. Shell Eco-marathon Americas returns to the Motor City in 2016, April 22-24, where the engineers of tomorrow will compete on the city streets of Detroit, the birthplace of mobility.

The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix returns to the Motor City June 3-5, 2016. The event will feature the cars of the IZOD IndyCar Series, the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and the Pirelli World Challenge Championship Series. The weekend collectively is referred to as the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and in 2016 it will feature IndyCar doubleheader races on Saturday and Sunday - the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans.
